The allure of youth and vitality is further enhanced by the city's abundance of new structures, spacious streets, and grand parks. Taxi
In addition to the trams and buses, Zaragoza also has available to its citizens and visitors a fleet of over 1,700 taxis. Distributed throughout the city, there are several taxi ranks, in all major shopping centers, the airport, bus/train station, and many important points in the city, so it's always easy to find a taxi. When visiting Zaragoza be sure to take advantage of its superb public transport system!

Tram
Another means of transportation that you can use if you come to Zaragoza is the brand new city tram. New, quiet, and green, the new tram is the most recent commitment by the city to a new concept of urban transportation faster and cheaper, which connects large and newly created districts that are located on the outskirts of town, with the city center in just 20 minutes.
Currently in operation is line 1 (Valdeespartera - Gran Via) and line 2 (Gran Vía - Parque Goya) is in the final stages of construction. With a similar cost to local bus lines, € 1.25, you can combine the bus ticket with a tram within the next hour for the same cost.. One recommendation is that you can always keep the ticket or bus card with you because the fine for travelling without a ticket in Zaragoza is 6€. If you travel without a ticket on the tram, the fine is 50€.

Bus
A bus ticket costs 1.25 € in Zaragoza if you obtain the ticket aboard the bus. However, if you plan on using public transportation frequently during your stay in the city, it will be more cost-effective to purchase a bus card, which will save you 40% on your travel costs and allow you to ride multiple buses within an hour for the price of one ticket (Transbordo), provided that the buses you ride are not all part of the same line. This even covers the tram service. The bus card costs 7€ (5€ forms part of your balance and 2€ works as a deposit for the card). From then on you can recharge the card with multiples of 5 € up to a maximum of 60 €.
One bus route that you may find particularly handy is Line 34. This bus connects the Estación Delicias (Central bus and train station) with the city center. It stops at the Roman wall which is a short walk from the famed Plaza del Pilar, and all along Caesar Augustus Road, parallel to the famous avenue 'Paseo de la Independencia'. Shopping at the Corte Ingles mall and the Paseo de Sagasta, two of the city's most popular destinations, will be right at your fingertips. Buses arrive every 4 to 6 minutes.
Lines 33 and 23 connect notable areas such as Torrero, Delicias, and San Jose to the city center. The 23 will take you to one of the most prominent retail centers located in Zaragoza situated in the Actur area, "Gran Casa". Again buses arrive every 4 to 6 minutes.
Another important bus line, (but one that is not chartered by TUZSA hence you cannot use the aforementioned bus pass) is the line that runs to the airport and the largest shopping center in Zaragoza, "Plaza". Plaza del Carmen square on the Paseo Maria Agustin is where you can catch it for €1.65. Approximately every half an hour, a bus will depart.
