This civil airport is situated in the town of Bodo in Nordland county of Norway. The airport is placed in the south of the city centre on the mouth of Bodo peninsula and shares all its facilities with Bodo Main Air Station (The military force base). Bodo International Airport serves as a major hub for some of the most opted airlines that usually go to Lofoten, Helgeland and many more places.
Since the airport is quite a small one, currently it is equipped with just one terminal for the arrival and departure of the passengers. The largest military airbase in the country, the airport is known to be the seventh busiest airports in Norway.
