Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport is an airport used to serve the city of Bari in Italy. Situated at a distance of approximately 8 kms from the heart of the city, the airport is named after Pope John Paul II. The airport is also referred to as Palese Airport and hosts a large number of tourists every year. Considered to be a hub for numerous budget-friendly airlines such as Ryanair etc, Bari airport handled a total of 5,030,760 passengers in the year 2018.

The airport is relatively a smaller one as compared to some of its flashier siblings like those of Rome, Venice and Bologna. Currently, there’s only one terminal for the arrival and departure of the passengers at this airport. As soon as the passengers exit, they would be able to find numerous options to reach the city centre with the help of public transport or a private taxi.

Although the airport has limited facilities, however, you would not be devoid of anything. As soon as you enter the airport, you can enjoy the free WiFi and binge watch your favourite series in case of any delay in your flight. There are ATMs in case you want to withdraw any cash before stepping your foot outside, the cafes and restaurants at the airport will help you in keeping the hunger at bay.
